Quick Start - Running Everything as Children of the Controller

When you "quick start" - the controller will launch the player manager and the audio server manager as child processes.

When to choose this setup

Our recommendation is to only use this setup when you are using the player for yourself - for instance preparing presets or learning.

In any professional situation, tying production parts (player and audio backend) to the controller is a bad idea.

Pros

• Fastest way to start everything on one computer

Cons

• When controller shuts down, player manager, player, audio server manager and audio server will shut down as they are child processes.
